Initial Project Brief:
  • To enhance the business performance of Managers of Europcar in the UK working in Rental Stations, Support Services and Reservations and with all levels of experience, seniority and aptitude.
  • To provide tailor made training for the business and have an impact on achieving the company’s objectives and improving the bottom line.
To design training that would:
  • Gain the involvement and support of the Executive (Board of Directors and Regional Managers).
  • Be relevant to the methods, procedures, environment and culture of Europcar.
  • Involve, inform and motivate Managers in support of the Business Priorities.
  • Have a measurable impact in the long and short term on the activity of Managers and Staff in pursuit of bottom line targets of the company.
  • Address the needs and learning styles of a wide range of Managers and maximise their learning and behaviour change.

The learning objectives:

To meet the needs identified we designed a six Module Programme with the following Objectives for Managers:

Leadership
  • To understand strategic objectives and their role in taking the business forward.
  • To be focused on personal improvement to ensure better business performance.
  • To increase focus and efficiency in dealing with Business Priorities.
Coaching and Feedback
  • To improve skills at dealing with poor performance and encourage excellent performance.
  • To demonstrate effective feedback and coaching skills
Problem Solving
  • To use a problem solving structure to generate solutions to challenges in the workplace.
  • To demonstrate creative problem solving skills which impact positively on business performance.
Customer Focus
  • To understand the barriers to excellent customer service and increase skills in resolving customer service problems.
Financial Management
  • To increase an understanding of the financial process in order to increase activity
    in reducing costs and increasing revenue.
Motivation
  • To increase and maintain motivation, commitment and responsibility of self and
    staff.
