Course Objectives:

By the end of the course delegates will:
  • Have a full understanding of what they need to do at each stage of the performance management process.
  • Have learned techniques in delivering feedback, and in particular delivering difficult messages, to ensure that the performance review is a useful and rewarding experience for the appraisee and the manager.
  • Have practised the skills that will help put the appraisee at ease and ensure that the review is a comfortable, two way discussion.
  • Have a full understanding of how the review can identify performance gaps and what processes are in place to help address those gaps.
